Work with families
A prosperous family is the basic pillar of our society, also in Romani culture. Life and light meets families in their everyday lives when visiting their homes. Life and light also meets families in various events that we organize together with local churches.
In family work, we want to support families in everyday matters, parenting, joys and sorrows. Our organization considers this form of work to be really important and we want to invest in this form of work.

Work abroad
Since its foundation, Elämä ja valo ry has been actively involved in mission work in different parts of the world. Today, we invest in reaching the Romani of Eastern Europe. Our missionary work is a comprehensive meeting of people, where we take into account their spiritual, social and also physical needs. We do missionary work in cooperation with Fida International.
A coordination group for Roma missions has been established in Fida International ry.
